Ancon R17.5

Our first major release after the summer also concludes Release 17 and prepares the platform for this autumn's R18 release.

R17.5 primarily contains bug fixes and improvements.

Bug fixes

Refunds

  • Fixed an issue where refunds were completed but receipts were not printed when correction tickets were enabled

  • Fixed an issue where the PSP could send a refund after an already completed reversal/cancel, potentially resulting in an incorrect negative balance

  • Fixed an issue where certain card refunds were sent to the original terminal instead of the terminal where the refund was initiated

  • Improved handling of partial refunds

POS & tickets

  • Fixed an issue where a correction ticket was not created when reducing the quantity of already ticketed products

  • Fixed an issue where ticket printing could become stuck in repeated print attempts

  • Fixed an issue where KDS did not print a ticket when all products were marked as completed

Ancon Order

  • Fixed an issue where the cart could retain an outdated Advanced Pricing price if checkout was completed at a later time

  • Fixed an issue where the preorder requirement could be bypassed when a restaurant was closed

Pay-N-Go

  • Fixed a permissions issue when removing products from partially paid checks

  • Fixed an issue where partially paid checks could become stuck after products were removed

Admin & Backoffice

  • Fixed several issues affecting Custom Menus

  • Fixed validation issues related to invalid email addresses

API, integrations & reporting

  • Fixed an issue where cancelled Deliverect orders did not create the correct refund or order correction and could incorrectly be included in X/Z reports

  • Fixed discrepancies in how certain refunds and buybacks were represented in Z-report summaries

  • Improved stability of internal background jobs

Improvements

  • Improved the company registration flow for UK companies (applies to restaurants in UK)

  • Improved stability of payment and refund flows
