Guest Groups & Wallet improvements

Guest identification and wallet functionality have been expanded across the platform.

  • Guests can now be identified directly in Express.

  • Wallets can be sold and used with Guest Groups in POS and Express.

  • Express now supports Guest Group payments.

  • Express users can top up wallets by scanning their Guest QR code.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where button text color did not adapt correctly to dark outlet color themes in Express.

  • Resolved a visual issue where mandatory add-on groups were not marked as mandatory.

  • Fixed an error that could occur when using mandatory products within product add-ons.

  • Corrected a problem where menu groups were not assigned properly after using “Save and create another”.

Product Metadata

Improved handling of metadata fields of the list/array type, ensuring that saved values load correctly and are easier to edit.

Email Notifications

Fixed an issue where users could receive emails stating that a “company is pending approval” even though they were not associated with that company.

POS – Guest Groups

Improved functionality and user experience in the guest group modal on iPhone devices.

Wallets

Fixed issues related to wallet top-ups:

  • Improvements to the wallet top-up flow when using the camera.

  • Wallet balances now update correctly in POS after a top-up via native modules.

POS & Express – Payments

Fixed an issue where the message “Change amount not set” was incorrectly shown during Stammy payments with predefined discounts.

Email no longer sent wrongly to invoice companies

New invoice companies now receives the correct email, and only eligable companies neroll correctly in the email flow.

Guest Groups – Expanded Functionality

Guest Groups have been significantly expanded across the platform, enabling better segmentation, pricing, and guest management.

  • Create, edit, and delete Guest Groups in Backoffice

  • View and manage Guest Group lists, including filtering and bulk editing

  • Assign guests and companies to Guest Groups

  • Set a default Guest Group for new guests

  • Use Guest Groups in price presets (POS and AOW)

Highlights

Gift Cards Online

With the Gift Cards Online feature, your customers can easily purchase digital gift cards directly via your website. The gift cards are delivered digitally, and the recipient can easily check their balance and validity through a link in the email or at the checkout.


Forced order format for POS

With the Forced Order Format feature, administrators can enable a setting that requires staff to always choose an order format (e.g., Eat in or Take away) before completing a payment in the POS system.

Important to note

If different order formats have different prices (e.g., Take away is cheaper than Eat in), the user will only see the final price after selecting the order format.

For partial payments, the order format is only selected the first time, it will not be shown again for the remaining payments on the same check.

Language selection in Express

With the Language Selection feature in Express, users can easily switch languages in the app, making the service more accessible to both guests and staff with different language backgrounds.

How does language selection work in Express?

Switch language from any page: A flag icon is shown in the app. By clicking it, users can access a dropdown menu with available languages.

Instant switch without reload: When a new language is selected, the entire app changes immediately, no page reload is required, and the user keeps their place in the order flow.

Fixed issues

  • Admin: Z-reports / SIE file – Partial refund of multi-product shown as "Rounding" in the SIE file
    When processing a partial refund of multi-products, the refund amount could incorrectly appear as "Rounding" in the SIE file. This has now been fixed.

  • POS/Admin: Users without permission for "Open price" cannot authorize item with authorized user's (Admin) PIN
    Users without the right to set an open price could no longer use an administrator’s PIN to authorize an item. This has now been corrected.

  • POS: Receipt copy – Virtual keyboard on iOS covers the email modal when sending receipt copies
    On iOS devices, the virtual keyboard covered the email modal when sending a receipt copy. This issue has now been resolved.

  • POS: Tap to Pay – Toggle for enabling digital receipts missing in POS app
    The setting to enable digital receipts for Tap to Pay was missing in the POS app. This setting is now available.

  • Integrationen till wolt-drive inkluderar nu mer information om företaget i mailkommunikation.

Nedan är ett urval av de buggar som drabbat flest, utöver dessa är det alltid lite mindre justeringar som ordnats upp.

  • Kontaktperson vid fakturering visas nu korrekt som företagets medlem

  • Summering av produkter i analytics fungerar igen

  • Dricks visas inte längre fel på vissa ställen i analytics

  • Materialkostnaden för produkter följer nu med korrekt i Publika API:et

  • Wallet historik visar nu korrekt i backoffice

  • Filtret “källa” i analytics visar nu korrekt vilken POS som gjort försäljningen, tidigare visades endast Notor från barläge.

  • Vissa inställningar sparas nu korrekt i backoffice, tidigare kunde man bli lurad.

  • Email är inte längre case sensitive vid skapandet av nya gäster.

Nya funktioner

  • Nytt utseende i kassan vid betalningar för att enklare kunna se och följa betalningen.

    • Ny knapp vid kortbetalningar “Avbryt och återbetala”. Knappen visas om det blir fel i betalningen för att förtydliga att köper kommer avbrytas och eventuella debiteringar kommer att återbetalas.

Mindre release av Ancon cloud som tar med en ny feature, samt en bugg som är ordnad.

Nya funktioner:

  • Inställning att tydligt visa på bongen vilka rätter som är till min bongdestination, användbart om man använder automatisk kommunikation mellan kök och notan innehåller produkter till olika kök.

  • Mindre ändring av utseendet på frambongen för att tydliggöra att det frammas rätter från andra kök samtidigt.

Buggar som fixats:

  • Coruse/rätt kommer inte längre försvinna från vissa produkter vid bongning.
